Is Murren the overnight location?

When I took this tour in June 2022 we stayed in Lauterbrunnen at the Hotel Staubbach.

Murren for sure is an overnight location, one of the best in the world. I have stayed in the valley and in Murren. The valley is easy to get to and not a hassle if there is bad weather. I'm not sure what month your going and that will make a difference. In October the gondolas get serviced and that may leave you with the train as the only option. Also if there are high winds the gondolas shut down. If you can at least give the area at least 3 nights that would be good, a lifetime would be better. The valley and Murren have the same grocery store with the same prices, there are ATM's in both. Murren has many more hours of sunlight than the valley which has 4 hours per day. On a scale of one to ten the Valley is a 10 and Murren is a 15. Enjoy your trip. J
