My Swiss travel plan

Hi All,

I would appreciate some opinion regarding my travel plans for Switzerland. I have altogether 4 days. I have identified basically two areas, the Bernese Oberland and Central Switzerland (Lucerne and Mt. Titlis).
So here i would like to know if the atcivities/experiences at Mt. Titlis is similar to the one in Junfrua and Schiltorn ? If that is the case i would concentrate more on the Bernese Oberland and explore more places there like : Murren, Wengen, Gimmelwald, HadarKlum etc along with Interlaken and Junfrau/Junfrajosh

Also if am getting a Swiss Travel pass for 4 days, will i be able to travel free on the panoramic trains ?

Please share your valuable views.

Thanks in advance !!

With only four days, I'd stay only in one place. They are both worth visiting but with your short time (are you counting travel days?) and its your first visit, I'd pick the BO. However, depending on what you're doing before or after, logistically Luzern might be easier to get to and from in timely manner.

I can't speak to Central Switzerland, but 4 days in the Berner Oberland is just enough to really get the sights in. Jungfrau and Schilthorn are similar and that both offer spectacular mountaintop views. Jungfrau is more expensive however, and you will be on a cogwheel train. There is slightly more to do on Jungfrau with hiking on the snow and some snow activities. Jungfrau can also take slightly more time to complete as the train ride is longer. Schilthorn is a gondola with a restaurant and James Bond museum. Both are excellent but I would chose one over the other with limited time. Jungfrau if you have more time and a larger budget, Schilthorn if you have less time with a smaller budget. I was enamored with the Lauterbrunnen Valley (Lauterbrunnen, Gimmelwald, Murren) and would tell anyone without hesitation to focus your time there. :)
