If I was to start out nice and early, how long would it realistically take to get to Zurich from Murren. I know the train from Interlaken to Zurich is about 2 hours. So, I guess what i need to know is how long to get down to Interlaken, from Murren?

If you’re starting at Zurich airport, add 10 minutes to Nigel’s time.
You’ll want to get familiar with the SBB app as it will come in handy during your trip. You can not only check times, but what platform you will find your train, the number of stops, which train cars will be 1st and 2nd class (so you know where to stand on the platform), which trains might be crowded, etc. It’s very easy to use.
