Last question I hope. My daughter is flying out of Milano Linate because months ago we didn't think her brothers would be going and she was already in Europe so I am going to have to take her to Milan to send her off. I finally put the pieces together that the train to Milan was affected by the work and we would have to take a bus to get to Milan from Domodossola as someone else suggested.
This has turned into a disaster but her plane ticket can't be changed so we are trying to make the best of it and see some art in Milan before her plane early the next morning. We will have the OB pass and so I was just going to monitor the situation and see how the buses based on comments here. We would need to leave Murren the 20th first thing in the am. I read suggestions to take the slower route through Lucerne I think but we wanted the fastest way possible just so we could spend 1/2 day in Milan. I don't know how reliable the bus schedule will be. It shows the bus leaves at 9:30 from Domodossola but is that reliable that the bus will leave then? I've never had to take a bus only trains. I will definitely take the scenic way back for sure when I return by myself the next day. So would you just wait and see what the reports are coming back about the bus? I've read some bad things already how it's a disaster.
