The Eiger Guesthouse Restaurant came highly recommended, but my experience fell short of expectations. The service was notably, slow, and we were not in a hurry. The food quality was inconsistent: while the bruschetta was delightful, the bolognese was disappointingly watery. Additionally, when half of my cocktail was spilled due to a mishap with the drink shaker, no replacement was offered, which was quite disappointing. When my husband asked about it he was told that he drank most of his drink so a replacement would not be offered. Overall, the restaurant has potential but needs improvement in service and consistency.

I was sorry to read that you were disappointed with your meal and the service at the Eiger Guesthouse restaurant. We were in Murren during the last two Septembers and it was our go-to restaurant in Murren. We enjoyed several other restaurants as well.
We have tried most of the selections on the menu (but not the bolognese) and never had any reason to complain. The waiters and bar staff were extremely friendly and efficient. The same staff were there each year.
If you are still there maybe give them another chance. I hope you told them you were disappointed with your meal.

We have stayed there and eaten there nurmerous times. My favorite dish is Rosti and they have a wide selection. We never had a bad meal or bad service, but it has been a while since we were there. I agree that you should maybe give them another chance.
