We are trying to book a room for 4 nights in Murren in September 2027. We have checked 8 individual hotels as well as sites like Booking.Com and none show availability. Is this possible 16 months in advance?

They just don’t show availability that far out, they’re not booked up.

You can always try contacting the hotel directly. I did that for booking a room in Murren a couple of years ago. Also, small hotels might not put all their rooms on booking.com, so if you see a specific room that you want to book on the hotel’s website, I would contact them directly.

Years ago, we booked in May for a September stay. So you may have to wait awhile.
I still dream about our hotel room - it was probably the tiniest we've ever had, but it was a corner room with balcony. We literally looked DOWN to see hang gliders going by below us!

Hotel Edelweiss Superior (great imo) accepting reservations on their website, book directly there....or call!
