Hi, planning on a multiday stay in Murren in sept 2025. I understand from a prior thread that construction on both the train and cable car will go through 2026. How impactful is this with regard to transport?

That information is incorrect. The construction is complete in Mürren.

It would be nice to hear from our posters from Switzerland because I also see where work is not anticipated to be totally completed until 2026. That only one section was completed in December.

I live in Mürren all summer every year, so I’m very aware of what goes on there. The new cable car from Stechelberg opened in December. The new train station has been open for a while. It’s true that the full construction up at Schilthorn won’t be fully complete until 2026 but that doesn’t affect Mürren and Schilthorn will reopen in March, so it doesn’t affect someone’s trip in September if they want to go up there.

I was in Murren in June. As wanderweg mentioned, there is no more construction at the train station. That work has been completed.
