Hello,
We are planning a trip from Chicago to France for a wedding, we want to hike in Switzerland and we want to visit family in Copenhagen, Not sure how to go. We are flying into Paris 9/14 flying out 9/30. We will go to a chateau near Vichy 9/16 -9/18 for the wedding. Planning on taking a train to vichy. Not sure if we should go from there to Copenhagen for 4 days (flying out of Lyon) and then go to Switzerland for 5-6 days (and back to Paris) or if we should do Switzerland first for 5-6 days then go to Copenhagen and back to Paris. Want to see Paris but feel the first 2 days will just be acclimating and not have enough time to explore Paris before the wedding.
Any advice on trip planning would be much appreciated!!
Can you change your flight? I think it would make a lot more sense to fly into one country and out another.
Unfortunately, you will be eating up a lot of time traveling. I would consider Paris-Vichy-Lauterbrunnen-Zurich-Copenhagen-Paris. If you can fly into Lyon and out of Copenhagen, you will save some time. Since Paris is a short time, you may try to skip it.
