I will be visiting Zurich this week (Wednesday -Saturday) and wanted to do a day trip to Mt Titlis, but weather forecast doesn't looks very promising as it will be raining all week.
Should I avoid visiting Titlis on these rainy days ?
Do you have other recommendations for nature trips on rainy days ?
Check access to a mountain top camera, and be flexible. If the weather clears, you have a breath-taking experience ahead of you. Safe travels!
We went on a cloudy day in May and loved it regardless. It was around 32 F with light snow and sleet at the top. We had had several days of views from other peaks so we were ok without clear skies.
I love cloudy days in Switzerland as they make for some great pictures. I recently did the trip up to Titlis and loved it. It was sunny on the bottom and cloudy up top. The clouds started to clear as I was heading down.
