Mt Pilatus luge/tobaggon ride

It was an enjoyable activity during our visit, and something we had never done before. The wait time in the line to start was fairly long; cost was reasonable. Only you will be able to decide if the wait and cost are worth it.

I did it last September and thought it was fun and well worth it. Can’t remember how much it cost but it wasn’t a lot and since it was late September the crowds were nominal. The earlier you go the better, though.

I’ve been on several luge rides in Europe. Though the Mt. Pilatus one was my least favorite, I still recommend doing it, especially if you haven’t yet experienced one. The wait isn’t terrible but usually there isn’t a wait at luge rides. Often times there is a slow track and a fast track, but this one just has one track. As a result, if you get a slow rider in front of you, you’ll not be able to go as fast as you want to go.
