Montreux to Zermatt train sbb question

Hello, We are traveling from Montreux to Zermatt. We have the Swiss Travel Pass, and I am trying to book seats on the sbb site, but there is no option to select my Travel Pass as a discount? I see 1/2 fare card, but no Travel Pass. Do I need to reserve seats if I already have the Swiss travel Pass when traveling from Montreux to Zermatt? Please help :) Thanks so much! Rene

You do not need to reserve seats, or book any kind of ticket. You just pick the train you want to ride on and board and find a seat. From Montreux, get off at Visp and change to the train to Zermatt. Its as easy as that. When the conductor comes by, show your Swiss Travel Pass, and if he/she asks, your passport.

All of the trains from Montreux to Visp are IR trains and do not offer seat reservations. Same for the regional train to Zermatt.
