Jazz festival is ON with some unique twists (stage being built on lake) and restrictions but still, take this as encouraging sign. We will miss it as we don’t arrive until late August.

So the festival starts in 2 months and 1 day, and the program announcement comes in 24 days. Only time it wasn’t held, since its inception in 1967, was last year. Hopefully that’s going to be the only time.

We attended the last day of the Festival back in 2017 and had a fun time. Had trouble finding much jazz on the free stages as compared to euro pop. The free Queen Studio Experience museum was cool and the lakefront promenade fabulous. It's basically one big music party!
