Is the Chocolate Train worth the time spent ?

Depends. You can do the entire chocolate train route on your own using regularly scheduled trains for a fraction of the cost (or free if you have a Swiss pass) of the Chocolate Train. On the other hand the Chocolate Train uses restored vintage Pullman coaches right out of an Agatha Christie Novel. So for some people it might justify the extra cash.
