Moderate Hikes or walking paths

My son and I are in Switzerland for 7 days which hikes did you enjoy and how did you find them? We are looking at the BO area.
Thank you, Ruth

Look into the Panorama Hike (Mannlichen to Kleine Scheidegg), the North Face hike from Murren, walking the Lauterbrunnen Valley, First to Bachalpsee and hikes up at Schynigge Platte. This is one of my favorite websites for in depth info on great hikes in Switzerland - www.swissfamilyfun.com

For the Jungfrau Region of the Berner Oberland I would take a look at their website to get the most accurate and current information (very important when hiking in the mountains).

Interactive hiking map to see status of trails and to get an idea of where all you could go:

Hiking options - from long-distance to shorter walks. Click on a specific hike to get all the details about it, including the recommended time of year for that hike. Use the dropdown menu of places to see other locations in the Jungfrau region.

A great hiking website/app for all of Switzerland. I use this app to choose my hikes and also to see exactly where I am when hiking.

...the North Face hike from Murren...

Outstanding views, and most of the way is on paved walking paths. Suggest taking the cable car to the top and hike back down. Not strenous at all.

The RS guide book has (or had) instructions on the route.

For the North Face trail above Mürren to be easy/moderate, you ride the Allmendhubel funicular to the top and walk down. But there are two trails down from there and the one that starts right at the playground is pretty rugged in parts. We hike up that way but for a nicer downhill hike, start on the Flower Trail as it leaves the playground, walking toward the Schilthorn with your back towards Mürren. The Flower Trail makes a loop back to the playground, but instead of that you take the obvious left fork leading to the paths in the gentle valley. If you follow the signs to Suppenalp and then Schiltalp (both mountain restaurants) you will be on the right path. It isn’t necessarily signed North Face Trail. It helps if you have a map, even the free one from the tourist office.

you posted this in May -- which ones have you done so far? I see that Mürren has had snow already
