Milan to Jangfrau region

Hello everyone,

Me and my fiance is planning on our honeymoon trip this early December. We are thinking to start our Europe Trip from Milan and heading back to Chicago from London. However, we would like to spend most of our time in Switzerland.

After doing some research we decided to spend most of our time at Jungfrau region. Can anyone please give us some insights on what is the best possible train ride for us to take around this area? Which city do you think is better for us to make it as our home base? Should we heading to Murren/Wengen/Lauterbrunnen from Milan?

Thank you so much for your help. :)

I do not know how much time you have, so it is hard to make recommendations,
But you should probably from Milan take the train to Tirano where you can pick up the Bernina Express

After you are done with the Bernina Express (you could stop somewhere and stay a night or two) make your way to Murren or Wengen. There are less people in Murren compared to Wengen.
