We are flying into Milan on March 6 th
Train to zermatt 3 nights at hotel rhodania then train to Lucerne for 3 nights staying at Hotel del balances. We have never been. Please provide comments also train guidance and things to do. Non skiers.
Your question is very general. We do not know what you like to do other than not ski.
Do you have a good guidebook? I used Rick Steves for both areas when went to Zermatt and Luzern. He will give you sights and activities as well as train instructions, but try https://www.sbb.ch/en for train planning. Also, Rick lays out passes you may be interested in.
Are you flying home from Zurich, or continuing on to elsewhere in Europe?
2 days in Zermatt should keep you occupied, Go up to the Gornergrat observatory, and Glacier Paradise for another. Sledding maybe?
We are flying out of Milan. Thanks for the suggestions
Luzern is a big city, with museums, architecture monuments, etc. Plus lake excursions and trips up scenic mountains. A guidebook would be helpful to you.
