Marble Runs other than Hasliberg & Wengen? And day trip feasibility from Lucerne?

Hello - we're visiting the region for the first time June of next year. My 8 year old LOVES marble runs - he builds his own at home, watches tons of Youtube videos of them, etc.

We'll be spending 5 nights each in both Lucerne and Wengen. I know of the marble runs at Hasliberg in Meiringen and then within the town of Wengen.

My questions:

  1. Any others in the general Lucerne/BO/Jungfrau region?
  2. Would you rank one of those two as much better than the other?
  3. Is Meiringen a feasible day trip from Lucerne? I know it is from Wengen but our accomodations are already booked and we have more flexibility during the Lucerne stretch than the Wengen part?

Thank you!

Meiringen is 1 hour and 10 minutes from Luzern by hourly train. Actually quicker and easier than from Wengen as it is a direct train. From Wengen it is 2 train changes and 15 minutes longer travel time.

Definitely Meiringen!

When looking at YouTube or elsewhere try searching “Kugelbahn, Kugelbahnweg or Chugelbahnen”.
Marble runs are quite popular and they can be found all over Switzerland, but some locations might not have an English website - or else they translate it differently. On the Rigi website rather than ‘marble run’ they translate it into ‘ball tracks’.
