Greetings! As part of our upcoming Switzerland/Austria trip we are going to drive from Luzerne to Innsbruck. Looking at Google Maps, there are two route options that we are trying to decide between. One is via A1 and the other is via A3.
Since we aren't in a hurry to get from Point A to Point B, and since the difference in driving times is only about 40 minutes, we would like to take the route that offers the best scenery. We like stopping at scenic overlooks and we like visiting quaint villages. We don't plan on taking long stops to do any activities other than looking, taking photos, eating, and continuing on.
Which route do you all recommend, and why?
