Luzern: 4 Nights in mid-July

Two late-50's adults, accustomed to LOTS of walking when we travel. We've traveled to Europe before and do pretty well with getting our bodies re-adjusted to the nine hour time difference. Here's our tentative itinerary:
Day 1: Arrive Zurich around 8/8:30; train to Luzern. Spend the late morning/afternoon walking and "getting our bearings"; leisurely late lunch (hopefully outdoors!); settle in at our overnight accommodation; to bed!
Days 2,3,4: Two days for mountain trips (probably days 2 and 4); one day to further explore Luzern and venture to Kloster Einseideln.
Day 5: On to Italy!
Our question: Which mountain excursions? We will be using a Swiss Rail Tell Pass, so it will cover all bus/train/boat/gondola/cable car transportation. We are considering Mt. Pilatus, Mt Titlis, Rothorn, and Mt. Rigi.

Thanks in advance for your input!

Last summer i did Mt Pilatus and Mt Rigi as 2 day excursion from Luzern. If u can find out day of visit which is clear select that one. We were there in July and both Mts were not clear at some pt during our visit. Maybe that is just standard, we still enjoyed both visits and could take some gd pics. Dress in layers for sure.

We also visited Mt Titlus area, while the mtn visit was so-so, it was also fogged in, the engleberg monastery in town was a wonderful visit with a tour by one of the monks avail in english. A beautiful place with alot of history. A must do if in Engleberg.

We opted for Mt. Titlis in July, because we wanted snow! That summer, Rigi and Pilatus did not have snow at the time. We stayed in Engelberg for two nights and were lucky to have a clear day for the mountaintop trip. It was spectacular!!

Engelberg is lovely. Once we returned to Luzern, we planned a lake cruise on our last full day. We traveled to Weggis by paddlewheel steamer, and enjoyed strolling around there, and had a great lunch by the lake.
