We will be traveling from Zurich to Wasserauen in September. The plan is to hike to Schäfler so we are looking for a place to store our luggage overnight. Are there any storage lockers available nearby?

If you stop at Herisau, there is luggage storage available at the station. Since there are trains from there to Wasserauen every 30 minutes, should be easy to stop off and store luggage and catch the next train.

Hi buffaloidiots,
We are doing a similar thing in August and I had the same question. There are no lockers at Wasserauen station, however, I contacted the Ebenalp cable car station, and was told they will hold luggage overnight in the station. We're hiking from the top of the cable car, not the bottom, and then hiking down the next day. I hope that helps!
