Not mentioned in RS guidebook, but sounds like a good deal if taking many trains (Mt. Rigi, Mt. Pilatus, etc), boats and buses during stay. Has anyone used this pass? Why didn't Rick mention it? Is there a catch?

Rick's summary of the Tell Pass is on p. 99 of the Switzerland book. Visitors seeing more of Switzerland are likely to have a Swiss Travel Pass that already covers most of that transport. Note that some pass rules and options have changed this year, versus what's in the book.
