We enjoyed Ammos Restaurant; great food and service; reasonably priced by Swiss standards. If you want to sit outsie by the river, then reservations are suggested.

The best restaurant I found in Luzern was Prik Thai. It’s on the lake near the university and around the corner from the KKL performing arts center. A friend recommended it to me, and I liked it so much that I ended up eating dinner there twice.
