Lucerne hotels for my itinerary

Hi All: I have updated my itinerary for Switzerland (early May 20-26) based on the suggestions I received here. Thank you all!
Now I have 3 nights in Bern, 5 in Wengen (at Edelweiss Hotel) , 3 in Lucerne and 1 in Zurich .

In Lucerne, we will have the first afternoon to sight see in the town, then a day for Mt. Rigi and a day for Mr. Pilatus both involving a bit of walking and ferry rides. I think those trips will each require most of a day. We don’t like to overpack our daily agenda.
I am looking for hotel recommendations with this plan for Rigi and Pilatus in mind. Near the train station would be a boon, if that is also possible. I’d prefer to not break the bank; however, comfort, convenience and a good breakfast are priorities.
For multi-story buildings an elevator is a must.
Thank you for all information and recommendations.

Hotel des Alpes is always a go-to. Near the train station (just across the bridge) and boat docks. Yes, it has an elevator.

I have used Flora Alpina (lots of tour groups at breakfast though), close to RR.
Hotel Ambassador (near the Lion Sculpture).
Did you know you get free use of Iocal busses, including to train station? Just show hotel reservation.
Both had elevators.

Our stay at Hotel Beau Sejour was great. Immaculately clean; warm and welcoming staff; good breakfast; elevator; a bit away from the hustle, bustle and noise of Old Town.. Not near the train station, but you can utilize the free bus pass. Beautiful stroll along the lake to the Old Town. We would stay there again.

If you have the STP, both Rigi and Stanserhorn are free, including the transportation to/from. Pilatus is discounted.
I have found Rigi and Pilatus to be half day adventures. Stanserhorn, with the open air Cabrio lift, is quicker, and is ideal for a sunset outing.
Another vote for Hotel des Alpes, get a room with a view of the Chapel Bridge. You should be able to see both Rigi and Pilatus from the room, on a clear day.
Enjoy this beautiful country.

Hotel des Alpes is perfect, especially in a 4th floor room with a balcony overlooking Chapel Bridge. Our room last month was roomy but spartan in appearance, but the view and the balcony was more than worth the price (expensive). Only 4th floor balconies are covered and protected from the elements. The breakfast is not a typical buffet, but a la carte from their restaurant, with a 18.50 chf voucher per person that hardly covered anything but the barest choices. Also with very slow service. Front desk helpful and friendly.

Hotel des Alps is convenient for trains but I would double check the AC if that’s important to you as I seem to remember they may not have it. Hotel Balances is an extra 5 minute walk but worth it IMO.
