Lucerne - Wet Weather Activities and Easy Hikes

I begin my Switzerland trip on coming Sunday, September 22, with Lucerne. Our original plan was to hike the Stoos ridge on September 23.
But given that the webcams are all snow and fog, I guess the Stoos ridge hike will be either closed or slippery.

Are there any other nearby long walks/easy hikes recommendations in and around Lucerne? We're not looking for anything too adventurous, just need an under 5km hike if it involves ascent/descent or an under 10km trail if it's an unpaved plain path.

Also, any other bad weather activities that we can do in and around Lucerne?

Actually the forecast is for pleasant weather on Saturday and Sunday; then maybe rain on Monday.

I cannot find any webcams that work for Rigi, but I doubt there is any snow at Rigi Kaltbad, partway up the mountain. There are some nice nearly-level trails there, with beautiful views over the lake if the clouds con’t roll in. You could take the boat to Weggis (40 minutes) and walk through town to the cablecar up to Rigi Kaltbad.

If the weather does turn bad again, there is a nice forested area above Luzern laced with walking trails. Lots of people up there walking their dogs, or going for a run. We got up there by walking up to Chalet Gutsch, the “castle” you see on the hill above town, on the train station side of the river. Google will give you walking directions from the train station area to Chalet Gutsch, where you will find the trails.
