I plan to take the Lucern interlaken express in September. I have looked at the Swiss rail site and cannot figure out how to reserve a seat. I want to make sure I am sitting in the right direction. Most European trains allow you to reserve a seat with a diagram of the train car. Help?
The Luzern-Interlaken Express is operated by Zentralbahn, so you have to buy seat reservations from them.

PS, the train changes directions at Meiringen, so you want a seat on the righthand side departing Luzern so you will be on the lefthand side going along the Brienzersee.
Thankyou, So do I buy the train ticket from Swiss rail and then buy the seat through the other site?
SBB will sell you tickets, as will Zentralbahn, but you must buy seat reservations from Zentralbahn (if you want seat reservations, they are not required).
