Looking for apartment with a balcony in Murren..

Hello fellow travelers,
We are planning on staying in Murren for a week in Sept. 2020 and would like to find a small apartment or at least a room with a mini-kitchen, and a private balcony overlooking the mountains. We have already stayed in Wengen and really want to be in Murren this time. I usually use Airbnb but have only found one and it is available much later in the month that we would like to be there? VBRO is also coming up empty. Does anyone have any suggestions? Do any of the hotels there have a mini-kitchen available? Any other sites recommended for finding what we are looking for?

We stayed here for a week last summer:

Chalet Oberdorf

It’s a 3-BR, so maybe more than you need, but the terrace has views to die for. We loved staying there.

You can check booking.com as well as TripAdvisor for apartment rentals, but you are right in that there aren’t a ton in Muerren.

Best of luck, and I hope you find something that works for you!

We stayed at Chalet Anemone 2 in Mürren last May. It had 2 bedrooms, 1 1/2 baths, kitchen and dining area. It had a balcony with a view of the mountains. It was an easy walk to the Coop grocery and the lift to go up the Schilthorn. It is at the opposite end of town from the train station, but we had no trouble walking it with luggage.

We stayed at Chalet Bobs (umlaut over the o in Bobs but my keyboard won’t do that) several years ago and have reservation there for May 2020. They have a two bedroom apartment with kitchen, bath, and living room. No balcony but an outdoor terrace with spectacular view. I think they may also have a smaller apartment, but not sure about that. Phone from U.S. is 41-33-855-1463. Owner/managers are Albert and Kitty Feuz who speak English. Short but uphill walk to Co-op. Also an even shorter way up some pretty steep stairs that ascend between neighboring houses. Very reasonable. We loved it and will be repeat customers.

We are staying at Balmi Murren in early June and it was the most reasonable accommodation in Murren or Gimmelwald I could find for our family of 5. Just Google "Balmi Murren"

Frau Bittman has a very nice apartment 2 bedroom 1.5 bathroom with a wrap around balcony. Also has a big kitchen, living room and foyer area. It’s a wonderful place.

Thank you all so much or your helpful replies. We are only a couple so only one bedroom or a studio needed but I realize sometime you can get a good deal for a little more with more bedrooms.
@Richard, can you tell me if the place you mentioned had what you call a great view? I saw the pictures but it is hard to tell sometimes.
@Tim, Do you have a link that you can shared. I can't seem to find your place. Would you describe it as a great view?

Hotel Alpenblick has a 2-BR apartment. We stayed in their 2-room suite, which does not have a kitchen, but had a spectacular balcony and Alp view. Highly recommended.

Chalet Gurtner also had a family of foxes living in the garden and occasionally the would come out into the open and play while their mother watched for danger. The chalet is located on the upper road almost across the street from the sports center.
