Sometime in the past two years or so a poster mentioned spontaneously rearranging his Swiss itinerary and going instead to Domodossola and a subsequently a neighbouring village. The circumstances were more detailed, but Domodossola is what stuck. The poster mentioned in particular a tackle shop in the village. No matter how I search, I can't recover the message and wondered if anyone can recall it (or if the original poster would be kind enough to identify the town again). I'm thinking it might have been Masera, but really, I don't know. Thanks!
Don't know if Mr É might have been involved, nor even if our mystery man has been to Domodossola with his fishing kit as he tends Eastern Europe for his fishing, but for fly fishing he's your man.
He doesn't talk much about fly fishing anymore but I doubt he's given it up
Nigel, a few weeks ago I returned to Montenegro for a little fly fishing and I will be in Bosnia sometime this year for more.
But Switzerland is outside this poor working stiff budget zone. So, I am no help unless the OP wants to fish the unspoiled G-d's country of the Balkan high country. Then I know a bunch.
