Lauterbrunnen Travel Pass Help Needed

Hello,

My wife and I are on Rick's My Way® Alpine Europe in 12 Days tour and will be spending 2 full days in Wengen, Switzerland taking trains and lifts around the Lauterbrunnen valley seeing the sights.

We plan to spend Day one going from Wengen to Lauterbrunnen, then taking a lift up the other side of the valley and going to Murren, then another lift back down into the valley, and finally walking back to Lauterbrunnen to take the train back to Wengen.

Day 2 is still unplanned.

We're looking for advice and recommendations on travel passes versus buying individual tickets? (We're not planning to go to Jungfraujoch, unless it happens to be included in the most economical option.)

Travel between those villages is cheap compared to riding fast intercity trains long distances. I calculated about 40-42 CHF for the round trip you describe. I don’t think that is worth covering with a Swiss Pass, even a one-dat Saver Pass.

Thank you for your reply. Can you post a link or tell me where I can go to calculate my transport costs?

It’s hard to give suggestions without knowing your full itinerary. Where are you coming from/going to before/after Wengen?
