I'm trying to label photos from last May. Looking down the valley in Lauterbrunnen from the train coming down from Wengen. There is a large snow-capped peak to the left, and then further down the valley (the end of the valley?) two other snow capped peaks.
I've googled and asked "experts" at another site and no one seems to know. Anyone?
Any link to photos we can see?
At the end of the valley, clearly visible from Lauterbrunnen itself, is the Breithorn https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Breithorn_(Lauterbrunnen).
“To the left” coming down from Wengen probably means you are looking at the Jungfrau. It is the mountain one sees directly from Interlaken as shown here on Wikipedia https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jungfrau.

You confused me with "down the valley". It is really "up valley" since water flows downhill.
To the left of the Breithorn are the Grosshorn, Mittaghorn, the Ebnefluh, and the Gletscherhorn.

Oh, of course! Sorry, I didn't even think about which way the river flowed. By "down" I guess I meant "over there at the other end. The mountains that everyone takes pictures of". Honestly, I didn't once think of the river.
I will endeavor to be more careful with my wording in the future ;-)
