Lauterbrunnen/Interlaken in late November with 14 month old

I would love to get ideas for easy walks/hikes or other activities that are open in late-November. We will be visiting for 3 days and have not yet decided between staying in Interlaken or Lauterbrunnen. I may be leaning towards Lauterbrunnen due to the views and less city feel, but am concerned that not much will be open.

I realize a lot of the sites and cable cars will be closed, but unfortunately, we cannot change our dates due to it being the only time my husband has a break from his schooling. I know the weather is not ideal and we will need to be flexible depending on what the day gives us. We will have a hiking carrier for the baby and would like to find a good list of 'tentative' options for things to do. Any recommendations from someone local or who is familiar with the area during this time of year?

Just so you know, ski season is projected to start on November 29 in Wengen. The rail line from Lauterbrunnen to Kleine Scheidegg runs all year long. Valley hikes will be the order of the day.

I would stay in Interlaken so you are more flexible. Lauterbrunnen will be deserted, and the days will be dark and wet...It will be dark and wet in Interlaken too, but at least there will be something open there.
