Hi Everyone, wondering your thoughts on visiting lauterbrunnen for 6 nights in the third week of April 2022. Will it be "between season" with most hotels/attractions closed? Or will that be a decent time of year to go?
Tied to the school spring break week unfortunately for spring travel.

If April is when you can go, then go. Not likely to snow in the valley in April but it's definitely likely in the higher elevation towns. There will be plenty of stuff open.
Do check the closing dates for the Schilthorn cable car, typically a few days for maintenance in late April. The Jungfrau railway remains open throughout.
My original trip was planned for April 2020 and when scheduling, I found all the things I wanted to do were open. You’ll just need to check with whatever hotel you are interested in staying to see if they will be open. The Hotel Oberland was scheduled to open about a week before we were to arrive mid-April. I checked the Schilthorn maintenance schedule for you and it will be closed from April 25-April 29 2022. The schedule is located here:

We had planned for April as we wanted less crowds. So, if you don’t mind the cooler weather, I think April will be a great time to go.
