Have planned for 5 of us going up the Jungfrau tho wonder if worth the weather risk to buy tickets online in advance (if totally socked in) and conversely don't want to get up there and not be able to get tickets. What says the seasoned traveler up to Wengen and beyond to Jungfrau?
Thx!

Since there is no discount for advance purchase tickets, there is no reason to do so. If you take the first or second train in the morning you do get a small discount called a "Good Morning" ticket. Just watch the weather and go when the opportunity presents itself. It can change quickly.
I agree with the previous reply. You can easily buy the tickets locally, especially as that's an expensive trip and one that's best taken in good weather.
Depending on where else you'll be travelling in that area, you might consider buying one of the Swiss Passes. One option you could consider is the Jungfrau VIP Pass which is available in a 3 consecutive day version. Note that the Pass only provides a 50% discount on the portion of the trip from the Eiger glacier to the Jungfraujoch. That would allow you some flexibility in which day you make the trip to the Jungfraujoch. You could also look at the Half Fare card or other Swiss Passes.
Consult this live webcam before you go.
Thank you much. That makes, if they don't "sell out" like the Eifel Tower. And yes an expensive trip if socked in!
And double thanks for the Live Web cam address.... Good idea to check that out in the AM prior.
