We will be taking a day trip from Chur to St. Moritz and back in December. We would like to stop in Filisur to access a view point for the Landwasser Viaduct. I've read that the best view is from above but is a steep climb. We've also seen views from below the viaduct but would like to know how to access that route from the station? How far is it, difficulty level (especially in winter), and approximate time? Any advice would be appreciated.

I don't see a way. The road from Filisur to the trailhead to the lower view point has no shoulder or space to walk. My only idea would to try Uber to get someone to drive you down to the trailhead and drive you back. Of course, being December, no telling if the trail is passable on any given day.
Doing it is summer is easy as there is a special train connection at a station called Schmitten GR, but it is not open in winter. Best just to get a shot from the train (right side) just before you cross on the way to St Moritz.
