Lakes & Mountain Excursions around Jungfraujoch

We will be in Wilderswil for 2 full days from 4th to 5th Feb. We are thinking of doing Jungfraujoch in one of the days. Next, we are thinking of things like: A lake boat tour and & A mountain excursion something like cable car to Mt Schilthorn (with mid-station Birg). Please let me know where can I do a lake tour and what do you think about Mt Schilthorn. Are lake tour really possible in winter or are there any better options around?

Thanks
Abhishek

The Schilthorn is a nice trip, the other side of the Lauterbrunnen Valley from the Jungfrau.

I don't know if the boats run at Interlaken in winter. You will have to check locally. The boat trip was, IMO, rather dull versus the mountains.

If you like to walk/hike, there are some easy and lovely winter trails. I recommend Grutschalp to Mürren with a return through the valley. All well-explained in the Rick Steves Switzerland guide.

Best hike I've ever done in Switzerland was from Sulwald to Sulsseewil lake. You take a bus from Lauterbrunnen to Isenfluh. From there take a cable car up to Sulwald and start your hike. Difficult but gorgeous hike with not a tourist in sight. Meadows, farms, neat geology, cool rock formations, and a fantastic lake view at the end. Of course, this won't be feasible in February due to snow but put a pin in it for a summer visit.
