Hi all -- We will only have one full day and 2 evenings in Lucerne. We definitely want to do the boat tour on the lake but also wish to take the gondola up to Mt. Pilatus. We will be there late March. Are both doable in one day and if so, which one should be in the morning.
Many thanks!
You could do the lake cruise in the first afternoon and Pilatus in the morning when the weather has the best chance to be clear. Fitting both into one day should also be possible.
FastEddie is right on.
Enjoy!
Though closed till mid May, instead of a round trip on the gondolas, consider one way on the world's steepest cog railway.
We'll have one full day and 2 nights there also, but won't arrive until around 6pm the first night - dark right? Would we have time the next day to do both and still see the town bridges and such? We'll be going to Lauterbrunnen and Murren for about 4 days after that and will do the Schlithorne and maybe Jungfrau. Would Mt. Pilatus be repetitive? Thanks for letting me latch onto your question! :)
