Jungfraujock ticket purchase

We are traveling to Lauterbrunnen in two weeks and are planning to visit Jungfraujock. We will have a Swiss Rail Pass for the week and understand that we receive a small discount on the Jungfraujock ticket. Is there any way to buy your tickets before without having to pick a specific day at the time of purchase.

Do not buy your tickets in advance, you will get a 25% discount with the Swiss Travel Pass, which I think is what you mean, if not and it's the Half Price Card then it's 50%.

The reason for not buying in advance is that if you do and the weather is bad you will either see nothing other than clouds and you will have wasted a lot of money. Check the weather forecast at Interlaken Ost station as you change trains or ask at Lauterbrunnen station and buy your tickets the previously. You should reserve seats from Kleine Scheidegg to Jungfraujoch and return this will cost 10CHF in addition yo your tickets. You will then be certain of getting there and avoid what i understand can be a scrum.

No there is no way to buy a ticket in advance without picking a day and like the above poster said you should wait til the day of. On my last trip to area May 2019 I went as far a Kleine Scheidig from Lauterbrunnen. And even when buying the ticket the clerk kind of advised against as when I got up there it was cloudy and snowing and I could not see much

Beware also that the Jungfraujoch is HEAVILY visited by tourist buses full of people. It can get super crowded and sometimes pushing and shoving and jostling to get in front. It has really changed a lot since our 1st visit 10 or so years ago. Our most recent visit in June was just miserable because of the ill-mannered tour groups.

FYI - you can check the weather from webcams and train stations like Lauterbrunnen, Murren, Wengen, Grindelwald...no need to go to Interlaken Ost station just to check the weather(??).
