Jungfraujoch Gondola /Entry time- Are they flexible with time?

Hi,

I recently booked our Jungfraujoch activity with the gondola / railway seat reservation inclusive. I was asked to select the time in and time out for the Gondola seat reservation (Eiger Express) and railway. I realised that we might end up later than the time I booked. Are the staff flexible with the time as stated on the ticket? This is for June which is a peak season. Im not able to make changes after booking. Please advice. Thank you

It does not matter for the Eiger Express. I had a Swiss Travel Pass that covers it like many others will and just showed it and got on unplanned. Maybe they are just collecting data. Did you get a Jungfrau pass?

The seats to be reserved is compulsory in the period we are going. It's on the official website as well.

It is possible to take the Eiger Express without a reservation, but you are going all the way to the Jungfraujoch for which you currently must have a reservation, as you correctly state.

Your reservation will ensure that you have a seat on the train portion of the journey (after the Eiger Express) and again going back down. I have not gone this way, but perhaps they also make sure you have priority boarding on the Eiger Express so that you are sure to make your train connection.

The staff can be as accommodating as they like, but if the seats are full at the time you want to travel, then you can’t get on that train.
