We will be in Lauterbrunnen the first week in May 2025. I know most hiking trails won’t be open yet but will we still be able to take the Jungfraujochbahn to the top or the Eiger Express gondola? Also is the Mannlichen gondola open this time of year? I am not clear if these trains, gondolas or cog trains in the area run all year long or only seasonally? Thank you

Männlichen opening depends on the snow, especially for the hike to Kleine Scheidegg. This year, I think it opened May 25 but then the trail was closed for snow and later for a landslide so part of (much of?) June it was closed. We were there Spring of 2023 and the cable car did not open until the day we were leaving, the 28th.

Click the "+" symbol in each section to expand it, then select "seasonal overview" in the bottom left corner to view opening and closing dates. Most schedules currently show the 2024 dates, so check back later for next year's schedule.
In my experience once the dates are posted they are firm. It is the opening of the trails that is weather dependant.
There is always at least one route open to reach the Jungfraujoch year-round.
