We'll be spending 2.5 months, using Lauterbrunnen as a base. I found this pass online and it looks like a great deal at $399, especially for unlimited trips up to Jungfraujoch plus associated lifts/trains in the area. The website says I can use the Swiss Half Price Card to get half off the season pass which would make it roughly $200. Since the pass is valid for April through November and the Half Price Card is valid for just 30 days, would I have to maintain a valid Half Price Card for the entire time I use the pass? Would love to hear feedback from anyone who has used the season pass.

I read the cost as 299 CHF with a Half Fare Card. Yes, it would only be valid in conjunction with currently valid Half Fare Card.
Thanks for your reply...and for correcting me on the price. Still not a bad deal though.
I apologize for the curiosity, but are you going to spend 2.5 months in Lauterbrunnen and explore all of Switzerland or just explore the Bernese Oberland area in that time frame? I only ask because having a base in Lauterbrunnen adds more time to travel and train changes to areas outside the Bernese Oberland. Again, sorry for the curiosity.
We’ll be using Lauterbrunnen as a base to explore all of the BO and also do side trips to others parts of Switzerland and other nearby areas. This is our first full summer stay. In the past we’ve visited multiple times but usually less than a week. We’ll have a car primarily because I’m an avid cyclist and at times will have to drive an hour or so to the start of my mountain climbs. The BO also serves as a great area for us to play tour guide for some of our family and friends who plan to visit us.
