Looks reasonable to me. Some suggestions for Montreux: short train ride to St. Saphorin to walk in the Lavaux vineyards and/or a train up to Rochers de Naye.

Also, giessbach is on lake brienz. I would pick thun or brienz. I enjoy a boat ride on both, but have to give the edge to brienz for the unique water color. You could pop up to Harder Kulm before a boat ride on either lake. I did that this past June and did not find it crowded in the morning.

June is a great time to go. I’ve been twice in June. Wildflowers everywhere.

Have a great trip!!!

June 2022, perfect! June 2024, not so perfect. :-)

June can be tricky. If you have some flexibility in your dates, I suggest as late in June as possible. Early June there is always a chance a lot of trails at the higher elevations won’t be open yet. I missed out on one of my favorites this past June—Mannlichen down to Kleine Scheidegg—because it was still closed due to snow and ice on the trail.

I have learned to be prepared for everything in the mountains—rain, cold, hot sun. So, I bring a mix of layers now when I go. I went once without my puffer coat and I regretted it. It can be cold at the Murren and Wengen level early in the morning. I also now bring a sun hat which I hate because it looks like I’m on a safari. But that mountain sun is hot, even without high temps, and I got a couple of good sunburns there.
