I'm planning a 30+ day excursion to the French and Swiss Alps with emphasis on hiking with some wine touring thrown in at the end. It's longer to help us slow down and savor each area a bit more. I'd appreciate any feedback on the following itinerary. I'm particularly wondering about whether splitting days on either side of the Lauterbrunnen Valley is a good idea, or if it's just unnecessary effort, and if the time allotted here is really too much. Also, whether I should invest another day in Lausanne and Murten. We have been to Paris, Alsace and Champagne regions before but are looking for deeper exploration this time. Thanks for the thoughts!
