My husband and I have three and a half days and three nights in Switzerland, flying in and out of Zurich. Our flight lands at 8:00 a.m. local time on Friday, and we will depart at 12:00 p.m. (noon) local time on Monday. Where should we go/what should we do Friday, Saturday, and Sunday?
We were thinking about staying in Luzern. We would like a cute town and we would also like to see some quintessential swiss views (maybe hike around a mountain!).

This is a very short trip, you will not have time to see much. Anywhere further would eat up time getting there.
If you land at 08:00, allow 1 hour for disembarking and immigration, 70 Mins by train from Zürich airport station to Luzern, you could be there 10:30-11:00.
"depart at 12:00 p.m. local time on Monday" - that 12 noon (12:00), or 12 pm (24:00) at night? I don't understand am/pm, too complicated. Either way getting to the airport from Luzern is easy.
Luzern gives you an old town, a lake with boat trips and local mountains to go up if you get a good weather day.
