itinerary Geneva to Munich Where after Berner Oberland?

Forum People who have Swiss experience--suggestions for our itinerary (about 2weeks late Sep-early Oct 23).
Our profile: age 41 and 71, educated and interested in all Europe offers. Been to Europe over a dozen times.
Adult son & I are wine people-drinkers and tourers. I adore European trains. Want to see/visit/ascend the Alps. Like to stay in comfortable surroundings. Are searching for & available for unexpected/interesting new experiences--doing, viewing, eating, drinking.

Not interested in long or height hikes. Flying into Geneva then train right away to Lausanne and close by for Lavaux Vignobles. Beyond that--to Berner Oberland for the Alps area stay & ascension. Looking for a "then where."

Day1 Fly into Geneva airport (not interested in the city); train to Lausanne or towns just beyond in Lavauv Vignobles area for 3 nights; Winery visits, lake experience, relaxation;

Day4 train into Berner Oberland. Thinking of Gimmelwald, Murren, or Wengen residence 3 nights; Alps
TRYING TO DECIDE: Day7-train to ?? Zurich or Appenzell, Davos areas ?? Stay about 2 nights.
Day9-train into Austria to Salzburg--(Berchtesgaden visit as a Holocaust educator), city and area--2 nights.
Day11 train to Munich--enjoy art museum, visit, whatever. Fly out of Munich day 15

I suggest Murren or Wengen. Gimmelwald is much too small to stay for 3 nights.

Appenzell over Zurich. Visit Ascher.

Salzburg, then Munich

I would extend your time in the BO. Three nights is only two fulls days. If it’s cloudy/rainy during those two days, you’ll miss all the gorgeous views.
