Itinerary for 4/29-5/5; Luzerne, Berner Oberland, then..?

Hi all
I am traveling to Switzerland 4/29-5/5. Flying in and out of Zurich from the United States. There are a total of 4 of us, in our early 30s. Looking for green rolling hills, beautiful scenery, hikes, and some relaxing. Wit this time of year, I know there will be some muddy areas, some mountain regions will be closed, and some hikes are closed. We are looking to go to Lucerne and Berner Oberland, stay in Lauterbrunnen, explore Gimmelwald and nearby areas. We are looking for a third destination. Some interest includes Lake Como or Lake Lugano but not sure if this is too much for a 6 night, 7 day itinerary. Other options could include split time between Lucern and Lauterbrunnen and head to Appenzell for 1 day before heading back to Zurich airport.

Days 1&2: Lucerne- explore Mt Pilatus or Mt Rigi. Boat tour to Vitznau. Stay at Burgenstock resort one night and enjoy spa/infinity pool. ?Day trip to Bern if we stay 3 days or if we have many rainy days.
Days 3&4: Lauterbrunnen. Possibly stay in Hotel Silberhorn. Explore Gimmelwald. I was interested in doing the most recommended hike but it appears it is closed until June, as well as the via ferrata hike in Murren with suspension bridge. Will have to stay more in valleys than high mountains such as Murren. Would anyone recommend the Obersteinberg hike at this time of year?
Days 5&6: Lake Lugano or Lake Como? Is this too far/are we trying to squeeze too much? Would it be better to spend some time in climate like this with the weather in end of April/May instead of as much time in Berner Oberland area? Would 1 day in Appenzell before heading back to Zurich and spending 3ish days each in Lucerne and BO be better?

Avoiding Geneva as some of us have already been there. Avoiding Zermatt/St Moritz for the time of year.

Any advice is appreciated! Thanks!
Amy

Forget Gimmelwald it will take you all of five minutes to explore. Instead head across the valley to Grindelwald and if the cable cars are running go up First.
