Hello all,
We are planning a 12 day trip to Switzerland with our two kids (3 and 5 years old) at the end of June/early July. We're planning to travel by train (Swiss Travel Pass + Berner Oberland Pass) and are looking to build an itinerary with a good mix of kid-friendly cities, outdoor adventures/hiking, food and culture. After a bit of research, we've sketched out the below itinerary. We would love any advice or recommendations you may have or issues you may see.
Day 1: Arrive Zurich; train to Bern (Night 1 Bern)
Day 2: Day in Bern; evening train to Montreux (Night 2 Montreux)
Day 3: Lavaux / Chateaux de Chillon (Night 3 Montreux)
Day 4: Gruyere / Maison Cailler (Night 4 Montreux)
Day 5: GP Express to Murren; Children's Adventure Trail / Flower Playground (Night 5 Murren)
Day 6: Mannlichen Panorama Trail / Wengen (Night 6 Murren)
Day 7: Schilthorn / Grimmelwald / Lauterbrunnen (Night 7 Murren)
Day 8: Hasliberg Marble Run Trail (Night 8 Murren)
Day 9: Train to Lucerne; Mt. Rigi (Night 9 Lucerne)
Day 10: Engelberg - Barefoot Path / Gobi Treasure Hunt Trail (Night 10 Lucerne)
Day 11: Lucerne (Night 11 Lucerne)
Day 12: Depart from Zurich
Thank you!
