Switzerland in November with child

We are doing a week in Tuscany then training to Switzerland from MIlan-- staying for a couple days before heading to Paris. Here's where I'm lost. Where do we go in Switzerland? It'll be 2nd week of November and I'm traveling with my 10 year old daughter. We're from Colorado so we're used to snow but would like to avoid it if possible we get enough of it here (haha!).

My specific questions are: Zurich looks to have some cool activities for kids is that a good base camp? I was also looking into the Interlaken region. Will it be too snowy at that time? I know you can go up into the resorts around interlaken but it will be November and I've read a bunch of stuff closes around that time. We would love to do some hikes (not too long) couple miles--we love waterfalls if you know of any waterfall hikes?

If we are in Zurich is it possible to train to Interlaken look around and head back? Is there a better 'swiss villiage' cool town to stay in that's not Zurich but would still interest a 10 year old?

Can you please just plan and book my trip and tell me when to show up? haha! Kidding but worth a try, right?
Thanks so much!

Look into Bern. It's small and walkable, has some cool bear-related statues AND there's a bear pen.

You can do Zurich-Interlaken as a day trip but not sure there's enough to see or do there, esp. if you want to avoid snow. Same from Bern.

Fribourg is supposed to be a very pretty Swiss city that combines its French and German aspects.

Have you check out Rick's chapters on what to do with kiddies?

You know, there ARE people who plan and book trips. They even have a name.
