Hi! My family of 5 (Hubby, myself and our 3 adult kids) are traveling to Italy in December during Christmas and will be flying from Rome to Geneva during then taking the train to Zermatt for skiing at Gornergrat. We’ll be staying in Zermatt for 3 nights then we’d like to take the BE or another scenic train ride to Italy connecting to Florence where we’ll have 7 more days before flying home out of Rome. Looking for suggestions on how to save on train fare and best route back to Italy. I’m sure after this trip we’ll be spending our next one with a lot more time in Switzerland! TIA!
