About a month ago, I was able to purchase one Save Day Pass through SBO online (I am located in the US). I need one more saver day pass for myself, and two for my spouse since we have now pinned down our itinerary. On multiple occasions, I have tried to purchase the saver day passes we need online with the account that I already have one ticket through and receive an error. The error says, "An error occurred while processing your query." I have tried to purchase these tickets on my account and also my spouse's account with multiple different credit cards. Has anyone else experienced this?
Did you register your card Visa Checkout or Master Pass the first time you made a purchase? That seems to be required these days to buy on-line tickets at SBB. Some have had success with American Express. Others have downloaded the SBB app and been able to make purchases with that.
I am not sure where you mean by "SBO". Have you tried buying them direct from SBB? Here: https://www.sbb.ch/en/travelcards-and-tickets/tickets-for-switzerland/1-day-travelpass/saver-day-pass.html
The number of Saver Passes is limited, and the price goes up as you get nearer to the date in question. Possibly they are now sold out for your date. When you click on "Purchase online" on the above webpage shows the price for each day, or the text "Sold out"
Sorry, yes I meant SBB*. I have tried online and also through the App. I did not know that the saver passes could be sold out, I will double-check on that.
We had trouble purchasing through SBB so we bought from BLS.
Thank you for the BLS suggestion, we were able to purchase with that app!

If I buy my two Saver Day Passes on the SBB app or website, will I also need to register my Visa credit card? If so, how is that done? Thanks.
We had the same issue, then had better luck creating an account online, downloading the SBB app, logging in to our account, then buying the passes and/or tickets through the app. Don't know why, but it worked.
Sometimes the card operator will refuse repeated transactions with same vendor, same value, made in quick succession.
Call your credit card company and ask if they see an attempted purchase. If not, ask to speak to someone at Verified by Visa. After verifying your identity, Verified b visa will confirm who you are attempting to make purchase with and amount. Have them wait in phone to insure purchase gets approved.
For on line purchases in Europe, we have 50/50 odds of payment problems. (SBB included)
