is regional pass worth the cost?

Hi all,
We (family of 4) will be traveling from venice to murren for a 2 night stay. It has been 20 years since I last visited this region and I am so excited to share with my teens! I am wondering if it is more economical to buy point to point tickets (cablecars/busses and trains) vs. a regional pass. We already have purchased train tickets to lauterbrunnen. We still need tickets for 4 from lauterbrunnen to murren, additional cable car rides post hikes to/from other villages, transport from murren to interlaken and train from interlaken to basel (before heading to Paris). I cannot seem to find actual costs of cable cars/bus rides.
Thank you!

What are the ages of the family?
Full fare ticket prices are at www.sbb.ch/en. You need to double the first price you see, it will say "x" passengers with Half Fare cards, meaning you have to double that price to get the real price. There are several kinds of passes that may save money.
Also, check www.schilthornbahn.ch for the lift prices in Muerren.

For your short stay I don't believe you would get your money's worth out of a regional pass especially considering the shortest duration it comes in is a 4 day pass. My guess is that the best place to find prices would be on the sbb.ch site.

There is a three-day Jungfrau pass that will cover all the trains in the region, from Interlaken to Muerren, Kleine Scheidegg, Grindelwald, etc. You can add the train from KS up to Jungfraujoch and back for 69 CHF. Kids 15 and under pay a much reduced price.

Whether it is worth it depends on how much moving around you wish to do.
