Interlaken to Munich Train

We are a family of 4 traveling from Interlaken to Munich in July. I'd like to show my tween girls one of the incredible train rides (glacier express, etc). We are leaving on July 2 and need to be in Munich for a 9:00am appointment on Tuesday. Any advice that will get us there the scenic way. We are happy to spend the night on a train as long as we have beds.

The train from Interlaken Ost to Luzern is very scenic going along the Brienzer See and over the Brunnig Pass. It is an extra hour to get to Zurich, but it actually costs a little less than going the quicker way through Bern. At Zurich, take the EC train to Munich, 7 1/2 hours total travel time. You can take the Glacier Express if you get an early start and have 13+ hours to make the trip to Munich. Interlaken Ost-Spiez-Brig-Chur-Sargans-Innsbruck-Munich. You have 1 hour 38 wait in Chur unless you want to take a bus.
